<p>Ouch, yes:( I heard that admissions is really hard for international students, and almost all U.S. colleges are not need blind for internationals.</p>
<p>^Exactly. That’s what hurt you. Schools are hurting a lot this year in terms of their endowments, and it’s hard enough for them to maintain aid for domestic students. </p>
<p>Still, you were waitlisted and not outright rejected, so there is hope. Have your GC call the admissions office and express your continued interest in attending, and update the schools on any new accomplishments.</p>

<p>With most of those schools on your list, they would most likely only take full pay students off their WL.</p>
