<p>I received my Deerfield acceptance letter today for some reason, I do not know why. Either way, I am excited!</p>

<p>Wow! I am shocked and thrilled. I am posting for my daughter who will not have access to phone or internet for a week. I called Fed-Ex and she has a package arriving from Phillips Academy tomorrow between 8am-noon. I asked if it was Phillips Academy… Andover or Exeter and they said Andover. I am shocked because of the 6 schools she applied to this was the one school I did not think she had a shot at getting in at. Her interview was less than 5 minutes long at Andover. We really assumed she would not be getting an acceptance into Andover. Interestingly, this is the only Fed-Ex she has arriving. I say interestingly simply because I am confident she is going to get in a few other schools. This really is a welcoming shock. I’m very happy for her. </p>
<p>I considered not posting this, but I figured that for those awake, it is true, I called and gave them our address and asked them if there were any deliveries scheduled for our address, sent via Fed-Ex Express on 3/8/2013. My condolences for those who were not so lucky. Remember, when one door closes, another one opens. I wish everyone the best of luck. Everyone keep their head held high.</p>
<p>@bshopeful2013 Well, congratulations!! That’s a tremendous achievement. I was too nervous to call tonight, and I also decided that seeing the package would be a much bigger thrill to me, so I decided to wait until tomorrow.</p>

<p>It’s a great school, but I was discouraged by the fact that they accept only four juniors.</p>
