Hey everyone!
So I have pretty good grades(above 95% in all classes), what I expect to be solid recommendations, and I scored a 2193 and 89% for my grade on the SSAT. My essay writing is very good in general, so my essay was pretty good(I hope).
For extracurriculars:
-Student council VP, and I was president last year
-Track(though not competitively)
-I’m in both advanced youth orchestra and 8th grade band
-Horseback Riding at a competitive level
-Volunteering

Did you apply to schools with riding teams? They might appreciate you the most!

Yes, I’ve applied to both Ethel Walkers and Dublin, but I’m not so attached to riding that I need somewhere with a team.

Edit: I also have 2 years of theater, as well as starting my school’s theater club and managing our productions.

Did you consider Dana Hall?

Did you consider Foxcroft and Oldfields? You can ride at those schools. Also, Grier may have a riding program.

You are an excellent candidate for nearly any boarding school but its a roll of the dice for most kids. I hope you applied to a variety of schools.

Sorry, but I think a lot of candidates have better grades and better ECs than you, but do not worry, I think you will have many chances to get in. I hope everyone in this forum will be accepted into their dream schools.
