<p>Is anyone else doing the Andover essay f where it asks you about a research project? Are we supposed of be highly scientific and use lots of terminology pertaining to our subject matter in the essay? Because I am. And are we supposed to actually write out an experiment, with an objective, and an end result in mind, with an introduction? That's what I have written, and I am worried it is too... dry? Could someone help?

<p>I’m not applying to Andover, but I can tell you that it’s one of the most selective boarding schools. As far as terminology goes, I’d say go for it, just make sure it’s not over the top. Admission officers can tell when you have used Google vs. your own mind. Regarding your other questions, try emailing the admissions office at Andover and ask them. That will not only show them that you are serious about it, but it also gives you a chance to show initiative and your writing. Good luck!</p>
