The title says it all,

I was rejected, had mediocre grades and PSAT, had stunning extracurricular and math and political science. Interview was great, nonetheless I applied as Upper....it's very competitive.

11th grade,

oh I see. I’m sorry you didn’t get in, I got waitlisted at my top choice, too
I’m sure you can do it next year, though!

Rejected Kunatah, I’m just curious because I applied this year as a repeat sophomore for all my schools(So we’re in the same grade) Are you thinking of applying repeat upper next year?

Absolutely, I have my 2nd thread about that, :D

For those that were rejected, don’t feel dejected. It’s just too competitive a process, :P

I was accepted at DA so i’m in a dilemma with what to do , apply next year for andover, or accept. I feel like by the end of next year I’ll just want to be applying for colleges already if I stay at my public school where that is what everyone else is doing.

Best of luck to you with applying this next year! You’re so right about the rejected but not dejected thing.

I was rejected at Andover for the incoming 9th grade class of 2015. I think this was mainly due to my interview. I have straight A grades, am committed to more than one extracurricular, and got 98% on the SSATs. Anyway, at least I was waitlisted at the other 5 schools i applied to. :)

By the way, ohxwowxlovely you are REALLY lucky you got accepted to DA. I was waitlisted and Deerfield is my first choice. If I were you I would accept, but that’s just me. :)

i got rejected by andover. my ssat is 97%. i am international too and i applied for full FA. i got waitlisted by all the other schools. i dont know if i can go to a boarding school next year now…
