"(also were not sore loosers and say that our swim teams should have wn saying they were swimmign against varsity and that the girls won unfairly)!"

I'm not sure if that's English, but Girls Swimming should be satisfied with 5 rings in 6 years. I know the boys are thrilled with their work.

On topic: Exeter seems to have a lot more freshman integration than Andover. Personally, I find the freshman support system--dorms, classes, sports teams, et al--to ease the transition to boarding school life. Again though, to each his own...

I just got acceptance packages from Exeter and Andover, and now I have to choose. I'm probably going to visit each campus through the spring visit program. I found the Exeter campus and students much more inviting. Much warmer. But, I liked Andover's reputation for academics, and their admissions counselors were much nicer (handwritten notes, personal emails, ect.). But I like the variety of classes at Exeter. And their sense of community. Arghhh! Hard choice.

This is such a hard choice, same for me. I just got accepted at Andover and Exeter, and I really don't know what to choose. The Andover people put my profile up online in "Your Potential Classmates" and wrote excellent handwritten notes to me. On the other hand, Exeter is very warm and I like the overall atmosphere of it. Therefore, it is very hard to choose between the two...but I maybe will go for Exeter....I don't know....

I'm no expert on either one. I suggest revisiting both and going with your "gut". Both have equally good reputations so don't go on any perception of "prestige."

Congrats on being accepted to 2 wonderful schools!
