"Angry students whose ACT scores aren't online yet" CREW. Show of hands?

tomorrow, please, for the love of god, tomorrow....

Anyone else still waiting?
i'm beyond angry about this now. it's been THREE WEEKS since scores were released. what are they thinking? this is absolutely atrocious customer service.

I suppose they could hold everyone's scores so they all come out at once.

Your scores aren't "late" or "delayed" until Dec. 18, which would be more than seven weeks after the test date.

yeah, that's what they tell me every time I called. Still, I feel there should be more of a justification for holding scores back this late. I mean, I'm probably going to get deferred from my EA school because of this. ugh.

my score came in this morning wednesday 12/6 wow

hey, i got mine today too! i was so shocked when the score popped up on the page because i've checked about 4052023423402 times prior to this and gotten nothing.

i'm incredibly relieved it came in, though super bummed about the score itself. alas.

Vegangirl - I have been following your trials with this - what a pain - as if all this college applications/testing etc is not stressful enough without having to wait so long. Sorry your results were not what you hoped for - are you going to take it again? My daughter was dissapointed with her Oct results too (though did not have to wait like you) so is retaking it saturday - last chance to try and increase some scolarship $$$s. She found the Oct test quite different in some areas to previous tests including the practice tests in the 'Real ACT' prep book. Hope this next test is more like the normal ones. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for her (and you if you are taking it) saturday.

vegan girl--i also have watched this mess occurring to you. have you asked the act people when they sent and how they sent the scores to your EA school? I had to contact them recently and learned that the scores are sent various ways--some electronically twice a month, some by mail, some weekly. some scores that were ordered in early nov didn't arrive--snail mail--until early December
i hope that the scores were sent in time--they will and do cut some slack but timing is everything.
good luck.

swimcatsmom- thanks for your sympathy. luckily while waiting for my ACT scores I got my SAT scores and they're fairly decent, so I'll probably be mostly using that. I just couldn't for my EA school because I didn't have three SAT IIs. I also have an ACT score without writing, which is higher than my new ACT score, so I'm sending that one to colleges too, hoping that even though most schools don't technically evaluate scores without writing they'll at least see that I did well once. Oh, and I agree with your daughter that this test was very weird. I went down eight points- from 36 to 28- in science, which is what completely threw my composite.

musictoad- thanks for the reminder. i know yale receives scores electronically and twice a week, but i'm not sure on which days. i'll call them tomorrow and see when they expect to receive the score.

When schools get them twice a week, it's Tuesday and Thursday mornings. So Yale should've gotten the transmission with your scores today.
