I've tried doing some of Barron's problems, and I got about 20 wrong. i thought, wow, I really need to study hard, or I'll get a similar score on the real test. But when I took the CB version of the Math II, I got 5 wrong. Plus, MOST of the cr*p that barron's teaches you is BS and will probably never come out in the actual test

I know how many people are saying that Barron's overprepares you, but I think that it is a HUGE waste of time if these guys try to teach you ridiculously advanced stuff that most people (excluding some of the CC math heads) can't digest among all the chaos of school/life/other SATs/etc.

I live in a foreign country, so now its too late to order a book. Are there any good resources for mock tests?

SparkNotes: Today's Most Popular Study Guides
click on test prep.
for every account you make you can take a free test.
there are 5 Math IIC tests available.

Barron's is really do-able if you are semi-decent at math. I would usually get around a 700-730 on those tests and the real test wasn't nearly as bad. If you can't get your hands on anything else, then stick with Barrons and, in the end, you should be ok.

yeah i was/is kinda ****ed with barrons also

^^ guess im not semidecent then.

Question: how accurate are these sparknotes tests?

yeah I'm wondering the same thing as I also have the barron's book and would want to use the sparknotes practice tests instead if that's the case.

my brother:
Barron's tests: 650-720
Sparknotes: 700-750
Actual Test: 800

^I got 680 on my 1st sparknotes... argg. It was challenging, but waaaaaaaay easier than the stupid barron tests

Bleehh I didn't mean semidecent in a arrogant way. Semidecent as in you know your math for the most part and are willing to spend some time on the information to fully understand it; sedulous more than anything.

Just stick with it and learn as much as you can. It might be tough, but it'll only make you better if you do the practice tests and learn from your mistakes in them.

However, it would probably be a good idea to take a couple sparknotes tests, too. Overpreparing is one thing, but you need to make sure that you don't forget how to do the easy problems as well.

Kowloon: yeah i got a 680 on my first sparknotes one too (took like 6months ago)

I'm taking the math 2 in june and i havent had the time to study yet :/
