<p>I need to decide before May 1st and I cannot choose between Cal Poly SLO and UC Davis.
I'd like to go to grad school at Davis vet med but I don't know if SLO will get me into Davis' vet school.</p>
<p>I got a scholarship at SLO and its way cheaper so it would be a good option, but really, is Davis a way better vet undergraduate school?</p>
<p>Same here… but it seems SLO is better for pre-vet as there isn’t a pre-vet program in UCD. But people say it may be a bit easier to get into UCD grad school if you do well in UCD undergrad.</p>
<p>If the financial difference is huge between Cal Poly and Davis, then go with Poly. You can always just do really well there, and go to Davis for grad school. Granted, it might be easier if you start at Davis, but it all comes down to cost. You have to save that money for grad school, so when you graduate you can afford to do nice internships without being hard pressed to get a job and pay back those burdensome loans.</p>
