Hello, I have gone through Barron's SAT Book, Barron's 2400 Book, and the Blue Book, yet neither my CR nor Writing scores are improving. Can anyone recommend another book or mode of study?

Magazines(national geographic), newspapers(new york times), and novels should be on your list. You've been preparing for CR your whole life by learning how to read. It's a long process to change the way you read. You can't just start getting the author's main idea because you read in Barron's that you need to do it. You have to read other things like political stories and stories that are opinionated to get get a better feel for reading. There are books, but they won't help. I could tell you Princeton Review and Rocketreview, but they give the same strategies as those books. The strategies in Barron's are great, and the only thing holding you back(at least I think) is thinking inside the brain. That goes up the more you read.

Princeton's, RocketReview, Grammatix, McGraw-Hill and Barron's Workbooks for Critical Reading and Writing, 1100 Words You Need to Know, Word Smart. Also, you might join a prep class or hire a private tutor to guide you along.

amb3r, which is good just for critical reading?

I saw this one SAT book by Barron's solely based on the writing skills section. I forgot what it was called but you can probably find it on amazon or google.

Writing, It would be great if you can find the College Board Sat II Writing. I have gone through it and find it extremely useful :D, it explains carefully and the practice tests are ~"~...

CR, know nothing. :| I'm stupid.

toastmaster, I would use Cracking the SAT. The writing and CR tips are really great. I don't think you need six more books, though. That would probably be overkill.
