aany other suggestions/comments?

For your fundraisers, did you actually start the fundraiser (like plan everything, it was your idea), or did were just participating in it, because there is a huge difference. Also, it might just be me, but I regard awards such as “high gpa/all A’s awards” pretty redundant because admissions officers see all of that when they look at your transcript.

If you are not applying to Wharton at Penn, you have a fantastic ED shot there (That would be your best shot). Your second best is probably Rice.

But ED should be based off your top choice, not just because its easier. And what about HYPSM Early Action?

@typhon- yup, I know. I will not put that on as it is a waste and pointless. As for the fundraiser, I only participated :(, but put in a TON of work. But I was actually thinking about starting it this year at my new school.
@username29- I will not be applying to Wharton. And do u really think Penn is the easiest? I know Penn’s ED rate is 31.6%, but I didnt think it would be easier than Rice. Also, I think HYPSM is WAY out of my reach. I feel that I have like a 1% shot lol.
Thanks guys!

Rice has the highest acceptance rate, but Penn is easier because so many kids apply to Wharton (Just look at this site) ED and they only have so many spots for Wharton. I’d say you have a very good shot for Penn ED.

But what is your top choice?

Honestly, my top 4 has to be Rice, Duke, uPenn, and Brown (in no order). All 4 have excellent placement into med school and would give me a great opportunity to excel. I think I’ll have a clear idea as to what is my top choice once I visit the schools… But, my top choice changes everyday lol. One day I’ll say its Brown and the next day I’ll say its Rice, etc :)

I’d say you have a great shot at any of them, even in RD, but I’d feel that you have very good chances to Upenn/Rice and good chances at Duke/Brown

ok thanks man! I appreciate the help!

no problem

Rice (ED) high match
Duke (ED) low reach
Upenn (ED) reach
JHU (ED) reach
Brown (ED) high reach

you have good stats and grades, but these schools are reaches for everyone. i would add a few that are more in the safety category. also, this is probably redundant, but you know you can’t apply ED to all these schools, right? you have to pick your top choice to apply to. good luck!

Neat website and good list. You have a strong application.

@bluekangaroo- yup, I know.
Thanks guys!

I disagree with bluekangaroo, I’d say because you are not trying to get into Wharton Penn will be a bit easier (lower reach). They all are kind of low reachs, but Rice and Penn are probably a little easier than Duke, which is easier than Brown

thanks patriotsfan1!
