Please give me suggestions. I think my extracurriculars are a little weak

You definitely have a good shot to get into Pomona. Your scores and course rigor are certainly on par, and I’d say your extracurriculars are fine as well (I got in with what I feel is about the same or less). That said, with such high selectivity as at Pomona, you can never really be sure of what to expect. Are you qualified to get in? Definitely. Will you get in? That’s never clear.

Speaking from very recent experience, my suggestion would be to get comfortable knowing that you’re qualified to get in, and you won’t really know more than that until you open your mailbox in March/April and find out. Instead of trying to gauge where you stand, keep your academics strong and involvement consistent, and write some killer essays. Also, show interest in the school. Have you visited/ can you visit? I visited junior year spring break and it helped me to not only in deciding where I wanted to go, but also in being able to express how much I wanted to be there in the short answer questions on Pomona’s supplement. Make sure to schedule an interview, too. I forgot until it was too late, but don’t follow my example there. Pomona looks for kids that fit at the school, so an interview not only shows that you want to be there but that you should be there.

Ok, that’s all for me. Good luck with senior year and the application process!

^
Thank you so much!!
Would you mind showing me your stats?

Haha, kinda figured that was the follow-up. Here ya go…
