I'm an out-of-stater interested in a few of the SUNY schools, including Buffalo and Stony Brook. I was born in New York but moved when I was six, and one of my parents graduated from SUNY New Paltz (I'm not sure if this will help me at all...)

Anyway, my unweighted GPA is 3.44 and my weighted is around 3.1 or 3.2.
SAT: 650 V 600 M (1250) 650 W (total of 1900)

I've taken honors courses all through high school but no AP courses at all. Do I still have a chance?

I agree you have a good chance. My kid got in last year as an out-of-state student with a 3.3 GPA (no AP classes) and only an 1100 on the SATs. She was well-rounded with activities, work and volunteering. She made three trips to the school including a visit with Admissions to show how interested she was. She was even offered the honors program, which carried a scholarship that brought the cost below our own state university. She loved the school, and I loved the price. Unfortunately, she changed majors and had to transfer...but I have another kid who is applying now.
