I'm having a lot of trouble finding colleges that are realistically in my range, but also challenging in regards to course work. Here's some information:

Female

Indian

ACT: 30

SAT: Math-580
Reading-690
Writing-670

UW GPA: 3.9

All IB classes

I have strong EC and a few leadership positions. I'm looking for a school which is not heavy in math or science. Any ideas for schools which would be in my range? Thank you so much!

Other than not wanting a techy school, we need some more info: part of the country, size of school, rural/suburban/urban, type of social scene, etc.?

Yeah, we're gonna need more info. Maybe a LAC would be suitable.

Oh I'm sorry...I would like it to be in the northeast. I really love Virginia, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, ect.

Preferably smaller campus with little emphasis on frats and sororities

I've been looking at the College of William and Mary and Boston University the most...do you think I have a chance?

George Washington University seems to fit your criteria. Not too big, in DC, definitely in your range, with great programs in international relations and media/journalism in particular (good business as well)

Your ACT is good, but your math SAT is not. Send in your ACT only.

BC, Holy Cross and Mount Holyoke in Massachusetts.

I agree, send only ACT, not SAT. Act is higher... How about Wake Forest, University of Richmond, GW, BU, Villanova????

How about Dickinson

Smith might be a good fit, and it is SAT optional now I believe.

Clark University in Massachusetts and Union College in New York. Also U of New Hampshire and U of Vermont.
