<p>You must be lucky to live with guys who will refill the ice trays. Call me sexist, but I’ve known few guys who refill the ice trays. Many will just return an empty one (or near empty one) to the freezer.</p>
<p>The more I read SeaTide’s posts the more it seems he built up what you needed from experience. I’m trying to chill, get the necessities, and remember that any extra items are only a PO Box away, esp. with Amazon prime free shipping for the year.</p>

<p>i would be find with chipping in for a tv, but then nobody actually owns it.</p>
<p>i think it would be handy for movie/game nights, too.</p>
<p>or i would be ok with buying a decent tv (but probably not a monster tv) as log as the roomies contributed other things.</p>
<p>What the guys plan to do is have the other three buy it off one guy, which should not be an issue. I told my son that the last thing he needs is another TV. He has one at home, and wait a year or two, and my parents will want a different TV. So he can get another from them if needed. What I found was that his friends have been very good about contributing things.</p>
