<p>On the supplements to the Common App, many colleges have a prompt that reads something like this...</p>
<p>"XXXX college has 50 majors; please talk about why you chose your major."</p>
<p>In general, how long should these responses be? The supplements only state "brief," but that seems pretty vague.</p>
