Another Generic College Search Help Thread. But you should respond to this one. :)

Hi there.
I am pretty lost in this whole college search process..I've got some time since I'm a sophomore but I am still going to look.

Preferably a mid-sized school
Strong undergrad engineering program
Co-op or internship..preferably a co-op
No 3/2 Dual Degree Engineering crap..not really going for it
Financial Aid is most likely a MUST
Not looking for a "party school" or a school completely filled with liberals

I've got good test scores right now (31 ACT!) and my EC's arent too great..clubs, sports, work, some volunteer and leadership stuff

What state do you live in?

[College Navigator - National Center for Education Statistics](College Navigator - National Center for Education Statistics)

Cornell would be an excellent choice for you. If you raise your ACT to a 32, I think that you will have a great chance at admittion.

Plus, some other schools that fit your criteria would be Carnegie Mellon, Northeastern and RPI =]

GPA?

10char

Case Western is very good with merit money.

Tufts maybe.

I live in Oklahoma
and I’m taking the ACT again in April and hope to get a higher score
I also took the SAT last week and wont know any scored until April 1

Stats would include GPA and class rank.

For real?
Right now I have a 4.0 UW…and idk any class rank…my school doesnt tell us
