Another great book for practice tests?

Hi guys, I'm studying the SAT for the october test and basically just doing practice tests over and over again. I already have the blue book, PR 11 tests, and barron's, but i would like another book because i have already taken all of the tests.

what would be another great book for practice tests? what do you guys think about kaplan's 12 practice test book? i want to mix taking old tests with new tests.

Thanks so much!

Go with McGraw. Their tests are so much better than CB’s!

To be perfectly honest, I think your best bet is the BB2.

Oh, I would recommend kaplans 12 practice tests. If by 12, you mean 10. and by kaplans, you mean collegeboard

I went through Kaplan’s 12 practice tests. The reading sections were quite similar to the CB’s tests. The writing section is too easy. I never did the math sections.

I would recommend registering for the OC. If you don’t have the money, buy the BB2.

go with the online course and bb2. But don’t exhaust these materials too quickly, all your Barrons and Kaplan tests are crap.

DID you get the 10 real SAT’s? Its good practice for the critical reading, if you need it…If not, then don’t buy it.

This is really quite simple. Everything made by CB is useful. Everything not made by CB is not.

i think you should REALLY slow down with the test taking if you finished cb AND pr AND barrons… how has your score been progressing, if at all? mindless test taking won’t get you where you want to go. you have to learn from your mistakes.

McGraw > Kaplan > PR > Barron’s > CB

^ So you’re saying that CB material is the worst? lolwut

CB is horrible at predicting their own questions. Stay away from it at all costs.

This is the first time I’ve heard someone say this. Most of the 2400ers and others worship the BB.

Well my score improved from 2050 to 2080 with McGraw, so it works better than BB even though I never used it.

“even though I never used it”

How can you rate it then?

are you serious…?

Bibgb14, thank you for a good laugh
the above conversation characterizes cc so well haha

Sometimes I feel like there should be a section on the SAT that tests for social skills -_-'

I’m pretty sure the OP STILL hasn’t figured out that you’re joking. xD
