Another MIT chances?

<p>Hi, I'm applying to MIT EA and wanted to know what my chances of getting in are. My stats:
*SAT:2140 (not retaking) [math770, cr680, w690]
*SAT II World: 700
*SAT II Math 1: 720
*SAT II Bio M: 710</p>

<p>ECs:
<em>National Honor Society (2 years)
spanish national honor society (2 years)
*students against destructive decisions (2 years)
*student academy of sciences (3 years)
*fluent in Farsi (read, write, speak), proficient in spanish
*assistant/substitute teacher at Farsi school
*member of Iranian music group (5 years, was group leader for one year)
*play piano for 10 years (I plan to send a music supplement...should I?)
*</em>*completed a year-long biomedical research internship at the National Institutes of Health/Howard Hughes Medical Institute
*summer student at NIH</p>

<p>I want to do biomedical engineering and I wrote my essay about attending language school and how I used to think it was the worst, but I grew to love it ("end of the world" essay)

<p>IMO, your SAT scores are borderline, but the rest of your profile is competitive. If you've taken the SAT once only, I'd consider taking it again in November; the scores will still be accepted for the EA time frame. If English is not your first or native language, make a point of this. You should definitely send in a music supplement. Try to highlight one or two important EC's, perhaps including music, and try to continue the theme throughout the application (i.e. how music is part of your life in the EC's and at least one essay). </p>

<p>yeah, I've already taken the SATs twice but, you know I guess I'm content with my 2140. No, English is my 1st language (well technically simultaneous to Farsi) But it's funny you should mention focusing on the two ECs because I have one essay about music and one about language school.</p>
