I am a sophomore at the University of Florida planning on applying for transfer to MIT. I haven't taken the SAT or the SAT II yet but I am registered and expect to get competitive scores. I am passionate about robotics and have worked with some of the top researchers in the country (most of whom are MIT alums) during my senior year in High School and over the past summer. I plan on doing research on campus this Fall in machine vision. I have a 3.8 GPA for my Freshman year and I have taken Calc, Chem. and Physics. I know that I can get at least two letters of recommendation from MIT alums and a couple from my Profs. at UF. Anybody think I have a chance at acceptance.
