The eternal question.

The Beatles. They seemed more varied than the Stones. Now when it comes to performance the Stones have it. Both the Beatles and the Stones had great songs though.

*It’s been a hard day’s night, and I’ve been working like a dog
It’s been a hard day’s night, I should be sleeping like a log
But when I get home to you I find the things that you do
Will make me feel alright

You know I work all day to get you money to buy you things
And it’s worth it just to hear you say you’re gonna give me everything
So why on earth should I moan, 'cause when I get you alone
You know I feel okay
When I’m home everything seems to be right
When I’m home feeling you holding me tight, tight, yeah
It’s been a hard day’s night, and I’ve been working like a dog
It’s been a hard day’s night, I should be sleeping like a log
But when I get home to you I find the things that you do
Will make me feel alright*

Man, these two bands are great…damn near impossible to compare but when it comes down to it, I’d say The Beatles, simply because I have more favorites from them, lol.

the beatles, hands down.

Beatles. Easily.

Avenged Sevenfold?

^They’re good too.

Beatles!

Beatles, of course.

Beatles, durr

It’s not even a question. Anything vs. Beatles isn’t a competition.

The Beatles for me
They just have a lot of great songs

Are they good? I recently came across someone who really likes them but I’ve never heard of them -__-

Both great but I’ll go with the Beatles. ^_^

I’ve never been able to get into the Rolling Stones. Idk why.

Awww man.

So no one else prefers the Stones?

I think the Beatles have a generally higher quality of song, but something about the grittiness, the hardness of the Stones… sometimes their music just feels more real almost.

Early Beatles stuff is good, but it’s poppy and sort of crap lyrics. Later stuff can get a bit overly-sentimental and touchy or else too broadly political/“message-y”. Everyone was doing psychedelic stuff, and yeah, they did it better, but that crap STILL doesn’t make sense. I mean, they were on drugs…

I think the Beatles have a lot of great drugs, but I just like the Stones better. IDK I don’t think I explained v. well…

What’s real about a couple of upper middle class lads from Kent imitating black men from Mississippi?

OK. Good point.

I did say “feels” and “almost.” Yes, the style was borrowed, but the emotion behind it was real and there.

I think the Stones had a lot of great drugs too…

let it be, let it be, let it be, yeah let it be

let it be let it be let it be let it be let it be let it be let it be let it be let it be let it be let it be let it be let it be let it be let it be let it be let it be let it be let it be let it be let it be let it be let it be let it be let it be let it be let it be

How early are you talking?
