I really like both too, the first ones like almost double the price of the second one. The price isn’t really an issue here, but I just want to make the best choice.

Girl opinion: I love the first one. One-shoulder strap-- LOVE IT. And the back is to die for. The second one is too… ew. Reminds me of fish scales. Well, that’s a bit harsh… it’s just too “plain”-ish for my liking. I like the dramatic element of the first dress.

Guy opinion: This may sound weird, but I tend to like shorter dresses on shorter girls. I would probably choose the second from my fashion-challenged point of view.

Girl opinion: I love the one-shoulder strap of the first one, but I really hate how its kind of flippy-ish on the bottom. And the second one is just not that pretty to me. But the better of the two would definitely be the first one.

Girl opinion: I LOVE the first one. It’s a black dress that’s pretty simple - but the back and one-shoulder strap make it stand out. The second one seems a little ordinary to me.

Both dresses are not really that good looking…it doesn’t look like a prom dress…it looks like a casual dress. If I had to choose which is better, I would say the first one.

Honestly, it’s all going to depend on your build and the flaws you’re trying to hide/pros you are trying to show. For me, I could never pull off the top dress as well the 2nd dress due to the cut in 2nd dress. However I’d never buy either due to fact my hourglass shape looks better in a halter that’s form fitting (and not layered high). Whats your body type?
Without any info I’d say the first.

the first one is gorgeous! the second one isnt original, & too simplistic, but the problem with the first is the crossover strap, you have to the right arms to wear something like that.
still both are pretty =]

I love the first one! It is so original and very cute. The other one is just kind of boring, plain and not very flattering. But choose whatever dress makes you can have the most fun in. And sprmallchic43, some schools have semiformal proms (like mine) where, unfortunately, you get funny looks if you come in a really nice long gown.

A Mom’s opinion–I like the first one, as the second one does seem like of boring. And just think how great the first one will look at at sorority rush party!
