Another Question about Freshman Orientation

we had to go as north as the sculpture garden all the way down to le conte and westwood... then royce to covel... it was far...

oh please. botany kicks your ass

Do not skip Cabaret, I almost did because I was so tired but my friends made me go and I remember sitting there thinking, "Wow, I would have regretted missing this!" As for Carpe, I didn't do that. That was too late. My entire group though was complaining about it though so I didn't feel bad missing out on it. I heard that people got lost and tired of running around everywhere, but I guess if you're social and up for running around at midnight with a camera then go for it.

i remember i did both... cabaret was awesome. carpe noctem was... really tiring. i knew where the first thing was so i was happy that i could actually contribute, but then i felt bad cuz i got so tired of running everywhere! but hey, it was one hell of an experience. even if you don't bond with your group (i can't name one person that was in mine), you do sort of bond with the campus in an odd way. i'll be walking around and come to founder's rock and be like, wow, this is what i found that night! or i get lost in south campus and those memories of the maze we found ourselves in come back, and it's really quite hilarious xD

True, might have been more fun for me if I hadn't gone to the campus like 4 times already and basically know my way around. I just sort of tagged along the group cause I was so tired.

It probably wasn't fun because we lost ;) Our group practically gave up halfway through except me and two others

Personally, I think those are the most fun events that UCLA ever plans... Welcome week and what not is well, eh.
