I have about a 98 average overall and I'm taking 5 APs this year (physics, bio, calc BC, english lang, macroecon). Pretty much everything is decent except for my mid-term and second quarter grades in physics C. This is the first year this class is being offered at my school and I have a horribly inexperienced teacher who has no idea what he is doing. There are only 8 people in my class and with the exception of one person, everyone is in the 70s or low 80s. Keep in mind, these are the smartest people in my school. We recently had our mid-term and no one finished. I think I'lll end up with somewhere around a 70. First quarter I had a 90 average and second will be low 80s. To what extent will schools like YPS, MIT, Columbia, Brown consider this one grade if everything else is much better?
