Another Try; Shorter Post

<p>Race/Sex - Indian Girl
going to be a senior. </p>

<p>hardest course load at my school; and I moved between 8th and 9th, and 9th and 10th grade (to the number 1 ranked public school in Ohio-- we send tons of people to top 20 schools.) </p>

<p>GPA- now, 3.72/4.11; counting senior year, hopefully 3.77/4.26</p>

<p>I effed up my junior year. I got a C in honors physics. my B's in high school were in spanish 2, spanish 3, AP Bio, and AP Chem. Clearly, I do not fit the asian stereotype because I cannot do science at all. </p>

<p>PSAT - 216 ( 78 CR - highest in school) commended for sure, semifinalist probably so finalist probably </p>

<p>SAT- 2190 ( 730 W 740 CR 720 M) retaking with actual practice
ACT - 32; retaking with actual practice
SAT 2 - Bio 750 US hist 740 Math 740 (retaking) Literature 710 (retaking) </p>

<p>EC's:
Speech & Debate: VP, OO/OI captain, 2x state qualifier, highest ranking in my school and school is always 1st or 2nd in my district, National Qualifying Tournament Finalist. I will hopefully be seeded first or second in the district by the time I apply. </p>

<p>MUN: President, VP last year, Superior Delegation 2x (highest honors), Chairwoman @ CCWAMUN - youngest chair at conference, youngest chair from my school ever, organized school's first out of state conference ever </p>

<p>Mock Trial - historian, Best attorney at both district and regional levels for two years-- our school broke a bunch of records for the state for getting so many people to regionals, Team Captain this past year </p>

<p>NHS - inducted last year, should get in a ton of volunteer stuff </p>

<p>Drama Club - participated in 2-4 school productions </p>

<p>Internship at Cleveland Clinic - 200+ hours last summer, helped write paper
presented it to science fair and won 3rd place in my category, and monetary awards as well and two special awards </p>

<p>This year, I'm interning at the cleveland democratic party and at another law firm. </p>

<p>I volunteer at an assisted living place on most weekends and I volunteered at the Obama rally near here. </p>

<p>I play guitar, piano, and I've written poetry that has been published in at least 4 anthologies, one won a high merit award, another is a semifinalist at a national contest and is being recorded into an audio book </p>

<p>and I’m hanging onto my top 10% by a pinky. We don’t send out actual rank but our class size is like 435 or something</p>

<p>Your PSAT is impressive, work on your science. Give a chem and physics SAT II, study hard, might make a difference.

<p>Curious though, why do you say Dartmouth is a higher reach than columbia?</p>
