..........I mean, I'd rather do than someone else, but....AGH, it's gonna be so hard!!

What if...my computer freezes? Or something ****ty like that? They're reworking cables around my house, so my internet has been unreliable lately. I KNOW that's gonna happen to me. Gah.

This is so tense. No focusing in school anymore. Blegh.

well i dont noe.. im gonna think bout that when i see that email in the inbox. then ill goo MOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!
i woulda just woken up on friday morning..

I'm getting my bf to open it. So he'll be there to comfort me if I get rejected, and he'll be there to celebrate with me if I get accepted. Over the phone i mean. And pink floyd is definatley going to be involved in this process.

yeah, I know what you mean. Everyone at my school knows too. So if the big R comes it's going to be like ... "yesh...rejected..." after the millionth time someone asks, it's going to get really annoying.

i wont need to
ive told EVERYONE just about EVERYONE
to not ask me nething
ill tell them
and if they never hear.. they will just pretend in denial like me.. that columbia never happened to me...

I go to Hayfield Secondary School in Alexandria, Virginia. It's real close to Washington, D.C.
About 4000+ students, I'm fairly certain I'm the only one applying to Columbia. Some applying to Princeton, some to Stanford, some to UPenn, but I think I'm the only Columbia.

well not really but my interviewer said it was pretty much the same as the worldwide acceptance rate..
lol..
i have no idea what that even means
this whole admissions crap is a HUGE mystery to me

i just need a fat envelope.. thats all..

yep my policy is.. dont ask.. ill tell.. if i FEEL like it.
and if i never tell.. get the idea and never mention columbia to me ever again

Yeah, I understand. I'm going to throw my Columbia sweatshirt in a bonfire or something if I get rejected. There's no way I can where it ever again after a rejection.

I just asked because I imagine it'd probably be in your favor to be from Singapore; I know that they always mention it in admissions talks and stuff as one of their well-represented countries.
