ANTH001 and PSYC001. and book materials.... PLEASE HELP!

I’m a high school student taking a couple courses at UPenn this summer. First of all, has anybody here taken either ANTH001 (intro to archaeology) or PSYC001 (Intro to Exp. Psychology), and how would you rate the course? Also, where can I find out which textbooks I need for these specific classes?

Thanks in advance guys,

Intro to Psych you don't really need the textbook. Its a great course.

Intro to Archaeology the textbook is really boring and theres a lot of reading.

Is there a book list in which you can find the appropriate book for your chosen course, and where do you recommend to buy these books?

The instructors will give you a a syllabus with the required texts on the first day of class. Meanwhile, if you're in town, hit the "main" book store at 36th and Walnut - the summer session books are upstairs all the way at the back of the textbook area.

If the books aren't there, they will be at the "Penn Book Center" at 34th and Sansom - they have a big chart that will tell you which aisle the books for your courses are buried in.

thanks WilliamC and chocoman!

Any other people willing to comment on the 2 courses?
a. Intro to Exp. Psychology
b. Intro to Archaeology
