I'm trying to fulfill the bio sciences breadth requirement in the college of letters and sciences. I'm deciding whether I should take anthro 1 (intro to biological anthropology) or plant and microbial biology (secret life of plants) 40.

My chances of getting into anthro 1 are better than plant 40 because anthro 1 is a very large class. However, I'm a little concerned as to how difficult it is for a non-science type like myself. And also how heavy is the workload?

I have a lot of reading/writing intensive courses (English & history classes), so would plant 40 be better to take to ease off on the reading/writing?

Thanks a lot!
