Anthropology Major

I am wondering if anyone has any information on Anthropology Major. This was my son’s alternate choice.
He could only find that graduates in this major would have difficult time finding jobs in general, but he would like to know if it is the same with Cal Poly SLO Anthropology Major graduates or not.
He is now wondering if he should go to a local community college instead.

He feels he did not work hard enough in his sophomore year, and he thinks he will have a better chance if he starts over
at a community college.

Different people told him different things(one person told him he should start over to focus on the major he likes, the other person told him that he should take anything if it was offered by Cal Poly SLO as it is such a great school.), he is really confused now.

I will appreciate any help.

Unfortunately, I do not believe anthropology majors will have any less difficult time finding jobs than other majors. But fortunately the ANTHRO classes here are very very good and I’ve only had positive experiences with the few anthro classes I’ve been in.
