anti-abortion people should have adopt all the kids they're forcing to be born

Should have TO adopt...damn typo

....discuss

so you're advocating the death of innocent lives? Have you ever witnessed an abortion or become familiar with the process?? It's atrocious.

No i have not witnessed one. But when the child is going to have a terrible life, living in slums, because their parents can't afford to bring them up better, no one else wants to help out.

Anti-abortion people are always the same people who are anti medicaid and welfare, and many of the people in a situation where they do not have the resources to bring up a child, need these things.

Perhaps what's more concerning is that many anti-choice groups are often those same organizations that are against preventive family-planning methods and comprehensive, clinical, scientifically-accurate sex education.

and anti-abortion people are most often for the death penalty. what sense does that make, a life is a life

Adoption is a whole other messed up system in the US. No need to get me started... I should have to pay $30K to some agency/state to take a child without a home into my home and provide love, clothing, food, educational costs, and living expenses when any random woman can pop out a kid and pay nothing(and in all actuality, actually get paid ie welfare)... yeah, right. I know adoption is a touchy subject and someone has to pay the bills to take care of the legal matters, fostering, etc but the system isn't quite legit.

Abortion... I can be convinced either way. I think it should be legal as if it were illegal it would still be done only in more atrocious ways. I don't think it's personally the option for me, but I haven't ever been forced to make that decision so I can't honestly say how I would feel.

Filthy conservative right. The second I turn 18 I am joining the Democrats and going to try to turn those cowards into real politicians.

For the conservative filth that supports life: read Cider House Rules. It converted me.

As I Democrat, I am a pro-life advocate and against the death penalty.

Pro-life and pro-choice aren't mutually exclusive. I am pro-life. However, I am not wise enough to tell others what to do. As such, from a legal standpoint, I have no alternative but to be pro-choice. Ironically, I am also pro-death penalty. However, the crime must be horrific and there can be no doubt as to the guilt of the defendent.

a super mod has spoken

frontal cortex activity begins at 21 weeks, since frontal cortex activity gives us the defining features of humanity (language, cognition, reasoning, etc) abortions should stop once there is frontal cortex activity because thats the point at which the fetus truly becomes human.

simple enough.

PS: except if the mother's life is in danger.

abortion is good as long as the baby is not well developed and can surivive without some mechanical junk attached.

I would say more around 30 weeks.

Conservative filth? That's a good way to proselytize. Considering the levels some conservatives are willing to go with regard to the abortion debate (read: killing people over it - how deliciously ironic) I wouldn't bring that opinion up in mixed company, unless you're sure you aren't in the presence of any conservative filth. They might be willing to let you know how they feel about the term.

the lady in roe v. wade wants to reverse abortions now (back then she wanted it legal). make up your mind people.

Yeah, I wonder what REALLY went through her head these past decades. I'm sure it's not just what she's saying in public.

fastMEd intrigues me. He's an interesting archetype...

"and anti-abortion people are most often for the death penalty. what sense does that make, a life is a life"

The difference is that unborn children are totally innocent; death row inmates are not.

There is no differnce. You either want to kill or not. Besides, you can never say for a 100% sure that every single death row inamtes which has been killed was guilty.

I am a guy so I really can not say how a woman would feel in that situation but if it was my girlfriend and we had decided to have sex and the result was a baby then I would take full responsiblity , now thier are suitations where abortion is needed , i.e. If a woman gets raped or when the life of the mother is at risk. Abortion is a ify topic. I personally do no think it's right but a woman should have the choice considering the circumstances.

Abortion is okay as long as it's medically recomended. If as ^ said, the Mother or the baby are at great risk, it would be okay to have an abortion. But for a woman to get rid of a baby because she can't handle the responsibility or is not willing to make any sacrifices; it's not okay.

Do you admit that there is a slightest (even let it be close to 0) chance of judicial mistake? See, all progressive countries have adopted (for some reason) reversible punishments (well, not considering psychological side) so that in case of judicial mistake everything can be reversed. Cutting hand off (as in medieval times) or executing death penalty is not something you can reverse.

I'm anti-abortion person and I will respond to OP's question next way.
Why can't all pro-abortion people use methods to keep from getting themselves pregnant?
