Anti-Barack, Pro-Hillary RANT

well, i sort of exaggerate a little, but really.

and i don't completely agree. although the election does affect us a great deal, it affects taxpayers even more. and i am not a taxpayer right now, so i am unable to feel the effect that it will have in a year or two.

and you are wrong about the taxes newjack, they aren't all beneficial. i would rather have more money out of my paycheck that i can spend on necessities rather than handing it to welfare recipients and illegal immigrants. sorry... we are not like the french or the danish. my family is from england and i have know how their system has affected them. they pay so much money to the government and receive none of the benefits that you have mentioned.

and jarn, her and obama's plans will cause taxes to go up for the middle class as well as the wealthiest americans.

anyone who wants to see any of the things i have said above can look at this:

don't take the quiz, look at the candidates stances.

many many of us are tax payers...and you will probably be too within the next 4 years...

I don't know, I look at Hilary Clinton and I see Martha Stuart. This is a man's job.

I don't support any of the front runners, however, it is Hilary that I support the least.

Whatever happened to Mike Huckabee... or Sam Brownback... true conservatives.

or ron paul..........

Yes, him as well.

Proof he lied:

Newsmax.com - Obama Attended Hate America Sermon

I liked giuliani at one time. but he didn't last long.

Oh dear lord, no. Giuliani was quite liberal and inconsistent.

well i consider myself a left leaning moderate, soo...

but he was sort of inconsistent. that's why i was only a fan at one time...haha

and yeah sheed, most of the kids that have posted in this thread are pompous and think they know everything. i agree. psh.

Yes, well. Regardless... McCain may be a good option for you. He has some left-winged ideas. For example, his plan to grant amnesty to illegal aliens. One large reason why he will not have my vote.

I am actually against that. One of the few conservative ideas I agree with.
I am not a fan of McCain.

Well then, we agree on something. I assume you don't agree with the Iraq war? Most don't these days, however I do.

Regardless, Hilary's chief campaign adviser has stated that if elected, Hilary will immediately pull our troops out, regardless of any potential devastation . It was also stated that any recommendations given by chief war strategists would be ignored. Slightly more promising than Obama, if that is what you are interested in.

Personally, I disagree with any troop removal.

No, I don't support the war. I did, at first, but what are we accomplishing?

I will probably end up voting for Obama if he is the nominee.

Sheed30, I LOVED your post with the bullet points (life is a dance floor--that whole thing.)

And um...as for katcarp2, WHAT THE HEL-L?
"I don't know, I look at Hilary Clinton and I see Martha Stuart. This is a man's job. " A man's job? So...you do fall into the stereotype of society, the one that says that we aren't ready for a woman president. Maybe you don't agree with her stances, that's fine. But I am a feminist and take offense to the aforementioned statement!! It's degrading imo.

1.) What welfare benefits are illegal immigrants getting?

2.) It's cheaper to have the government pay for certain things. Don't you think it's pretty nice of the government to deliver our mail? Well, guess what, stuff like that costs money. How does the government get money? Taxes.

Actually, I was watching MSNBC and as of 30 minutes ago, they still have not found any reasons to believe that he was there during one of Wright's hate speeches.

I agree. Who I trust to best handle the Iraq War situation:
1.) Obama
2.) McCain
3.) Hillary Clinton
In her speech today, she basically said she would disregard common sense and pull troops out no matter what. Sounds similar to how Bush wants to "stay the course" no matter what.

Uh, you must have a very skewed view of the middle class. She's said that she wants to raise the taxes on people making over $200,000/year. Do you consider that the middle class?

[/quote]

Any candidate who is going to raise taxes for anyone better deliver, though. As a country, we pay really high taxes for what we receive in return. Also, if you make over $150,000 you're pretty much screwed in terms of taxes right now. I think it's wrong that we treat families who make $200,000 a year the same way we treat Oprah and Bill Gates. (It could also be the case that Oprah and Gates pay less taxes than these families percentage wise since Gates and Oprah have access to lawyers who can reduce their taxes.)

welfare recipients and illegal immigrants

just had to clear that up.

and i don't mind paying taxes for things that are necessary like mail delivery....but paying taxes so that my healthcare plan is basically downgraded? no thanks.

and yeah i completely agree with you jeremybeach, a candidate can have the ability to succeed as president regardless of gender! a woman can do the job just as well as a man. actually, a woman president has the sympathy and compassion that men lack. she is a smart woman, and i may disagree with her, but she is fully able to be president.
race is a little different. obama will definitely have a target on his back, unfortunately...there are some sick people that won't tolerate him just because he is black. :/

Jackht27, you hit the target on the spot!!!! (bullesye, rather.) The compassion and sympathy part is exactlyyy what I was thinking today lol! Kudos. A select few share that pov.

men think logically, which isn't necessarily bad, but going into a decision based purely on logic, isn't always good if you don't use your compassion and think using your heart...
and i don't think feminism is an idea only for women. why can't men be in support of rights for women!? LOL..

Jeremybeach, I was completely open to any statement you had to make in that post until you said you were a feminist. Then I just laughed.

And no, I don't fall under any stereotype. I do not think "women are not ready", that would be putting words in my mouth. I simple believe that woman have a place in this world, as do men. This is not woman's territory.

Why not?! What gives men the advantage when it comes to the presidency? Really. I want an answer...
