Me, I am just a lowly rising high school junior, and I will turn 18 three months after the election (PITY ME!!!!). If I were to vote, I'd pick whomever says "Universal Health Care." Seriously, our system is so screwed up. Voters need to chime in.

yea i really like obama. people of the older crowd (aka my parents) think he doesn't have enough experience. but i find that he is the only person who truly represents my beliefs and comes up with ways to do things. im not a large fan of hilary though, so id vote for giuliani if obama doesn't make it through primaries. i like his social views. that and my cousin works for him and he told me i should vote for him because it would be good for his resume to have worked for the president (lol)!

I do dig Obama, but I'm probably voting for just whoever gets the Democrat nom. Hilary's okay, she's definitely not my favorite just because of people's (sort of unfounded) view that she's a total b-tch, which gives her a bad image. I also like John Edwards and Bill Richardson, although I'd rather they were VP and Secretary of State, respectively. Bill Richardson has done ALOT of foreign work in the past under Bill Clinton and would make a really awesome SoS in my opinion.

Obama. There isn't much of a question. Although, Gov. Richardson does have good answers to many of the energy problems we are/will be facing, but that is about all I like with him.

Depends on who makes its to the general election. Hopefully an independent I like turns up so I don't feel I need to vote for a Democrat or Republican. Why can't people see that these political parties are nothing but the country's largest special interest groups?

He has no experience. He is only popular because he's playing off our current president's faults. I haven't heard one new, innovative thing out of this guy, but he's all the craze...

Anyone preaching healthcare to all, lost my vote. I have NO IDEA where people believe the money is going to come from...and yet, everyone is against raising taxes.

I'm also sorry, but we cannot abandon Iraq. People need to take some accountability. What were the figures on president Bush's support in going to war? Pretty damn high. Now everyone wants to cut and run?! That says a lot...
Also, take a look at what will happen to the region. We are still very dependent on foreign oil, and I don't think we can as a nation take another terrorist homeland attack.

I usually side with Democrats, but after the last congress election I am leaning more and more to the right. I'm voting for McCain or Giuliani.

I agree that we can't abandon Iraq...I mean, we just went in there and sh--ted on everything. The least we can do is clean up our mess before leaving...

i agree we shouldn't cut and run with Iraq, but those people are straight up crazy...they won the asian soccer cup and 10 of their own people died in the celebration from gunfire...i think its a never ending violence there along with the whole middle east and arab states...oh and about the election i need to do a lot more research for each candidate

Hillary. I think I'd probably rather hang out with Obama, and maybe I'd give him my vote in the future, but I think his lack of experience can really hurt him.

Ron Paul actually makes me really nervous. His isolationist stance on foreign policy seems really outdated and unwise. I know he says "we must not isolate ourselves", but everything else he proposes is isolationist. I think he's way too idealistic, and puts too much faith in capitalist practices to protect the consumer. I'm also pro-choice (or I at least feel our government should be, personally speaking is another matter).

I'd rather pay higher taxes for some form of UHC, even if it's only basic nationwide coverage with buy-in non-basic plans. But considering how much money is wasted in Iraq, I don't really see how anyone can use inappropriate spending and higher taxes as a fault of Democrats (alone) anymore. Besides, I think every democratic candidate running has advised reappropriating taxes in some form. And doing away with the Bush taxcuts. That alone could accomplish a good deal.

Ron Paul, on the miracle off-chance that he gets the nomination. After him there really isn't anyone worth voting for (for the nth time in a row) but I'd still go vote for someone who isn't Hillary (crazy social stuff) or Obama (I like him but I don't like his policies.)
