well rounded but no passion (ON PAPER, might i add!)

i should have done less and pursued a fewt things with more passion i guess. although i think even though im not champion of the world, i still have passion. o welll

I know we all place a lot of emphasis on scores, but it really isn't the most important thing. If adcom only cared about your SAT scores, then they wouldn't ask for a transcript, an essay, or anything else. Making straight 800's on all three sections is no guarantee if there is nothing that stands out about your personality, interests, or if you have no passion about the school. This guy I know in Austria had pretty middling SAT scores and grades but he speaks three languages fluently and wrote an essay on his random interests, such as lockpicking. And he got in ED last year, and deferred himself for a year to work in the prison system. Pretty neat guy. They probably read 60 billion essays where kids rewrite their resume or talk about their mom or a great sports game. When someone is really an individual, in addition to being intelligent, they take a deeper look. If they wanted a school-bot then that kid probably wouldn't have been admitted then, would he? I think the main thing is that they are trying to root out the kids who solely did everything on their resume to get into an Ivy League college, and didn't really care about their volunteer work or ECs.

660 Chem :[
also couple of other ED applicants from my school. all of whom are very very smart
AND procrastinated on essay = essay not great
booo :[
i really hope the decision comes out on the 6th

Frosh: 3.69
Soph: 3.83
Jr: 3.64 (equivalent of Cs in precalc and physics)
Cum: 3.72
Sr: 3.77

GPA may seem low, but there is no rampant grade inflation in my school, and all courses are honors and accelerated. There's a holistic grading system, and it takes a remarkable amount of hard work and dedication to earn a 4.0 in any subject.

SAT I: 740, 700, 710, 2150
SATII: Latin 780, Math I: TBD, U.S. History: TBD, Math II: TBD

And, being an Asian male is far more harmful than being a White male.
Though, I consider myself a white American, given my upbringing and mentality.
Consider my contempt for the maths and sciences as well :)

Again, ANTI-HOOK people.
Being ranked 20 or getting a 750 on your SAT Math section is not an anti-hook.
Example of an anti-hook: Being an asian male from NYC with all 500s on their SAT and the last person in the top 10%.
