Anxiety about contribution?

<p>My brother and I live solely on the income of a single mother that comes out at around $10,000 at maximum every year, so contribution may only be approximately $6000.</p>

<p>With such low income, do I face a probability that I may get rejected somehow? I'm applying to schools stating that they will meet 100% need like Bates, Colgate, Franklin and Marshall, Connecticut, Trinity, etc.</p>

<p>Well, yes, the higher your need, the lower your chances of acceptance. Add the fact that international financial aid admission rates are generally rather low, and you will probably get rejected from most placed you applied to. (For example, an admissions representative from Colby posted on this forum a few years ago that they received about 1,000 applications from international students that year, with 900 of them applying for aid. Of those 900, they could only fund about 10…)</p>
