I've been hearing about some UCs such as Davis and Irvine...but I'm still waiting on UCSD and UCLA. Anyone has heard of those two schools yet???

Official admissions haven't been sent out yet for SD and LA, but a small group of people have gotten likely emails or calls.

Oh damn, and why would that be it? My 2 friends got called yesterday and im very very nervous.

yeah, i got UCI today and UCR last month..
does it matter WHEN you get it?
cause i know some of my friends haven't gotten accepted to irvine yet (not like they want to go there), but they just think that for some reason they're not as good a candidate because they haven't heard back from Irvine..

LA doesn't send out till late march (my friend last year got it on the 20th)
i think.. after april, then you're pretty much waitlisted or denied..
dont know about SD..

my friend got an email that she got admitted to San Diego like last week.
by the way, we are out of state (Arizona). I think berkely is like 3/23????

I got accepted to UCR in February, and I'm waiting on UCI and UCSD.

UCLA begins notifying THIS SUNDAY (3/15)
UCB posts online on 3/26

i've been accepted to uci and ucr. rejected by ucd. the funny thing is my friend had lower stats than me and was accepted into ucd.

davis has been strange
i didn't get in either but i got into uci.

davis has been strange, originally i thought i would get rejected by irvine and accepted by davis. turns out the opposite is true...

thats exactly what i thought

accepted into Davis and San Diego; nothing heard from Berkeley or LA yet

i think berkeley is on the 26th. thats what i have been hearing. then again, davis said the 15th and they came out yesterday.

just to be clear, the ucla admissions decisions will be posted here?
UCLA Undergraduate Admissions and Relations with Schools: Decision Notification

i just want to make sure because its not a login type site. if anyone is for sure on this info, please inform me. also, how do we know ucla begins notifying on the 15th?

collegeboard.com said UCLA begins notifying on the 15th so all next week decisions will probably be going out.

and i'm pretty sure that's the link to check...they may send an email too, who knows

great. thanks. good luck everyone!

lol yeah davis was weird this year. my friend who got into michigan got rejected from davis....

What are my chances at ucla
I'm currently a sophomore and i haven't yet takin any pre-ap or ap classes. Freshman year i got an A in english, spanish 1, world hisory and a c in math. This year I have an A in english biology a b in religions and a c in math. As a junior i plan to take ap us history,ap english, Dual enrollment chemistry and as a seniorr ap english and ap government. For the remainder of my high school career I plan on volunteering at a local hospital, habitat for humanity and a local library. Also i expect to do well on my acts and sats. Also as a junior and senior I plan on joining student council. Also i plan to join the NHS as a senior. And if it matters my school is in the top ten percent of academic schools in AZ. I also played 1 year of varsity basketball and 1 year of jv.

Accepted into SD and Davis so far. Irvine is taking a crazy long time 'reviewing' my application. I feel like I'm the last person to hear from them.

UCD seems to be getting more and more random every year. I know a few people last year who got accepted by LA and Cal but rejected from Davis. Who knows. I wouldn't factor Davis into whether or not you're going to get accepted into the others.

@Deez: It's a toss up. Your grades seem alright, but if you're really planning on doing everything you have listed there, it maybe give you an advantage over other applicants. Just keep your grades up and you should be fine. UCs ask for the positions you hold, so unless you were captain of the bball team, I don't remember if there's a place to put that on your app.

UC San Diego is out today! GO TO myapplication.ucsd.edu

Rejected at UCSD.
