<p>I don’t know much about your school/area but I can tell you about the majors. It all depends on what you want to do after you graduate. MIS grads mostly end up working in database or systems administrators and as systems analysts. Sometimes they end up in marketing or sales of technology products. If you plan on working in the finance industry, economics would help but you need to consider a few things. Your GPA could suffer because of a double-major especially if you are trying to graduate on time. MIS is pretty in demand so it’s relatively easy to find a job. You’ll need to get some certifications like A+ and CISCO if you want to work in the technical side of MIS and not the business side.</p>
