Any advice?

These are the schools I am applying to:

Univ. Of California
Fee Waiver:
Irvine
Santa Cruz
Davis
San Diego

PAYING:
Berkeley
Los Angeles
Santa Barbara
(If im gonna pay, imma pay for the best schools lol)

PRIVATE SCHOOLS/OUT OF STATE:
Howard
USC
Fordham - New York

I am at a CC in Los Angeles,California. I have a 3.4 GPA but will get it to a 3.6 by the end of Fall semester. (They do look at your fall gpa right?) My major for now is Anthropology.

I have a few questions.
Is a 3.4 really bad for the schools im applying to?
Should I even apply to the private schools?
I went down to a 3.4 because I got a C in Stats. but i knew I barely passed.
Where else should I look?

I am also looking for advice or inspiration.
College is much harder than it seems.

My sister got into Berkeley major Pyschology.
I don't want to be the dumb one in the family lol
I was mostly looking for Santa Barbara.
Maybe TAG if they havent put a 3.5 gpa limit on it

I like L.A. don't really want to leave but if I have too I have too, only UC is UCLA :/ .. closest after is Irvine and SB ... Riverside too but I know I can aim for better schools, not trying to bring it down. School is school.

If you get your GPA to a 3.6 with all your pre-reqs nad IGETC done, there’s a good chance that you will be accepted to all schools. Even if it’s only like a 3.4+, you have a great shot at all schools. Anthropology is not impacted at UCLA and relatively easy to get into.

Can you get few waivers as a transfer? If yes how? And how many fee waivers …per CSU and UC

UC’s will pay for your tuition in full under the Blue and Gold program (after grants) and $80,000 is the maximum income for eligibility. Also, TAG to UCSB, I doubt they will raise the minimum GPA. Remember the TAG filing date is the entire month of September, which is a month before actual applications are due.
