<p>Any fellow gamer here?, gamer as in Neil Strauss's "the Game", as gaming the Mystery Method? (Mystery, the pickup artist ring any bell anyone?) Anyone sarges around college campuses? </p>

<p>I've seen every episode of the show so far, and while I don't doubt that it works one bit, I think it's pretty sad that most girls (at least most of them I've met) are really like that and go for that stuff, but all in all, I think it's pretty awesome it's been turned into an exact science.</p>
<p>It actually works pretty well. I say this from experience.</p>
<p>I think they are good manipulators, but selling out to get laid is lame, IMO. Then again, women are shallow, so its all good.</p>

<p>Actually, I'm not a player, and most of the dorks who are into that "nerd-to-player" stuff are pathetic....hot girls aren't going to fall for any of that junk, and yes, looks matter a LOT if you want to pull hotties. If you're a desperate virgin who wants to game an average/ugly girl, go ahead.</p>

<p>They're not falling for anything, they know damn well what they're looking for. Women (most that I know) all go for the same thing. This method just shows that the women it works on go for an alpha male in a group setting, one that will treat them decently but not too decently, and can be interesting and has characterstics that set himself from the rest of the men in the room. </p>
<p>I mean, for God's sakes, look at Mystery. I'm no female but that dude cannot possibly be good looking, and he has a pretty impressive track record.</p>
<p>I've read some of the stuff on the forums and have tried to implement it into my game. I think it's helped some. I also know a few people who take it very seriously and, trust me, it really does work wonders for them. </p>
<p>Looks matter, but only to a point. The truth is that the vast majority of guys have the potential to be at least 7's on the 1-10 scale if they get in shape and get properly styled. That is more than enough to give you a shot with most girls. Also, those pick-up artist books aren't preaching anything underhanded or devious. All they do is teach you how to be confident, funny, and interesting--exactly what most girls want.</p>
<p>I find it so sad girls are stupid enough to fall for that crap. But I give mad props to the guys that implement it and straight up game girls. I guess this proves that all girls are stupid gold-digging whores on at least some level. If they weren't this stuff wouldn't work.</p>
<p>The only reason I'd spite some girls for this truth is because they'd rather sugar coat it and hide their reality rather than come out with it and admit it.</p>
<p>This show does a bit of service for everyone it seems. It's rating aren't so bad either.</p>

EXACTLY!!! That bothers me to no end. I would be able to deal with it more if girls could just admit it. But they're always like I look for blah, blah, blah in a guy, yet they're with the total opposite.</p>

<p>Also, your league is pretty much fixed, unless you strike it rich. There's a little flex, but it's not even worth trying to go for girls way our your league.</p>
<p>But there's ton of delusional losers on the internet. They say things like "I go to a 4th tier state school, and I have just as good odds as a Harvard grad!" or "I might be ugly, but I can use game to get models to like me"</p>
<p>It's that exact attitude wutangfinancial that will never allow you to get chicks that are "out of your league."</p>
<p>Yeah, I'm not so sure about that wutangfinancial. While what you're saying has a lot of truth to it, I have seen lots of broke ass fugly dudes with fine ass girls. There is no other explanation other than they got game to explain the situation.</p>
<p>I like everything about my University pretty much except its size sometimes.</p>
<p>While its size definitely contributes to what I like about it. There are so many different types of people and its very diverse, but sometimes its a ***** to get too classes. I only wonder whats gonna happen when winter comes.</p>
