Any Bank of America around UNC?

I know wells fargo is the bank that unc uses and there are plenty of ATMs. However, I don't like wells fargo that much.

I was thinking of getting an account with bank of america, but I was wondering if anyone knows how many branches are close to UNC. In fact, what matters most is how many Bank of America ATMs and where they are. Can anyone tell me?

and from what I know there aren't any chase banks around, correct me if I am wrong.

Yes, there are Bank of America ATMs on campus (one near the student union and one in the downstairs of the business school), as well as a branch on Franklin Street.

are they always accessible? I dont know where each is located yet, but are they far (like in the corner of the campus) or in the center? I will be a freshmen, so most likely i’ll be living in the “south” from what I heard.

What about Chase ATMs?

The ATMs are 24/7. The business school and the UNC Hospital both have B of A ATMs and are on south. Chase ATMs are also at the hospital and on Franklin.

Thanks for your help guys. So just to clarify, Bank of America has 2 ATMs on campus, and Chase has 1 ATM? In the entire campus and surrounding areas?!

No. There are others. I primarily mentioned some I’m aware of down near south campus. Also, Franklin Street has just about everyone represented. Go on the respective bank’s websites and look up locations in Chapel Hill. They will tell you all of their branch and ATM locations in and around campus.

I did. For Bank of America it was pretty much what you and the other person said. As with Chase, there was nothing at unc. Not even one ATM - the one you mentioned.

Are you such a noob that you couldn’t go to the bank of america website and use the locator function?

You should keepittoyourself just like your name says. I did go to the Bank of America website, which only showed a few locations. I even called and they told me there were a few more other than the ones I see on the site.

It’s not the same going to a website and asking someone who attends UNC and knows the area. I am not from there, so I have no idea what is nearby. Something could be showing on the website, but in reality it might not be there anymore.

With all due respect, everyone is a noob.

You’re really in for a shock at college, if you need your hand held this much.
