<p>wachovia is the big bank in the area. there's at least one branch very close by and atms (in the bc and under the marketplace). i think there's also a bank of america atm in the bc. i think wachovia is based in NC, so it's very accessable.</p>
<p>Yea, wachovia is what I use, and I'm really happy with it. The branch office is on 9th street, so that's nice if you need to do something more than the ATM will let you do. Just an FYI, all the area banks have representatives in the Bryan Center during Orientation Week, so if you're out of state, you can set up an account then if you'd like.</p>
<p>I use BoA, its a short drive from Duke but not somewhere I could visit regularly without a car. In the Bryan Center on West Campus, there's a Wachovia ATM, Sun Trust ATM (new one!), and BoA ATM.</p>
<p>Question- Where is the nearest BoA to Duke? I'm bringing a car this year and really just have no idea...lol.</p>
<p>The closest is on West Club Drive, by Northgate. Just head north on Broad Street, make a right on West Club, and you'll see it on your left.</p>
