Does anybody have a compelte list or information as to what banks/atms are on campus?

The atm on campus is Chevy Chase...

At the football games they also have a show us your card and if you flash the CC card and they pick you ...you get a few bucks. (albeit tons and tons of kids are trying to get picked!)

so there is no bank of america? i just opend a checking account with bank of america cause someone told me that it was on campus...? argh

I think there's a Bank of America on Knox Road/Route 1 where all the bars are. But Chevy Chase is the best way to go since there are atms on campus.

buth then how would my rents deposit money into the bank..that is the whole point of getting a checking account

We opened an account at CC just because it is the atm on campus (not bank of america) Its a hike to rt 1..so it depends on how often you need the bank, as to if you want to open an account.
If you are making regular deposits you may want to open an account at CC.

there's CC and BOA and also PNC bank.

But I do believe that CC is the only ATM on campus....thats what my D. says who is going to be a sophomore.

There is a Bank of America on Route 1 right by Wawa and 7-11. If you're a freshman, you'll be close to an Orange Line stop (campus shuttle service) which will take you to about a minute away from the BoA.

Chevy Chase is THE campus bank. Also, at Wawa's ATM, they let you take out money in increments of 10, and I believe there is no fee to use it.

D. said it was a pain to get to the banks on Rt. 1..Its a hike if you are walking..but you could as BigJ says wait for a shuttle..Or you could just open a CC account as it is the most convenient.

Yeah, there's no surcharge to use Wawa's ATM, but that doesn't mean that your bank won't charge you for making a withdraw.

You should definitely open up an account at Chevy Chase, but if you can't because of the deposit situation with your parents...then Bank of America will work since there is one near Wawa on route 1.

Bank of America charges a minimal fee at Wawa. I checked my account history, and on withdrawls of $10, BoA only charged me $0.36. That's pretty darn nice compared to the $2 charge on campus. Not as nice as free down the road, but then again, they don't let you take out in increments of 10.

okay so tell me if i am correct:

*chevy chase atms on campus
*bank of america atm at wawa on rt1
*slight surcharge for withdrawls at wawa
*2.00 surcharge for withrawls with bank of america account from *chevy chase atm on campus
*no surcharge for w/d with chevy chase account

"okay so tell me if i am correct:

1 - *chevy chase atms on campus
2 - *bank of america atm at wawa on rt1
3 - *slight surcharge for withdrawls at wawa
4 - *2.00 surcharge for withrawls with bank of america account from *chevy chase atm on campus
5 - *no surcharge for w/d with chevy chase account"

1, 3, 4, 5 are all correct.

The BoA ATM is actually located about a block down the road from Wawa. Wawa has it's own ATM that charges minimal fees and does increments of 10.
