Any Benefits to Sending Application Early?

Heres the scenario: I have to take the ACT on Sept. 15 and SAT Oct.6. Considering that the college can't make the final decision on my application until that SAT score comes in, is there any real incentive to sending the application before Sept 15? Will they immediately look at the application and wait for the score before making the final judgement or do they need everything before reading the application?

Thanks for the help as this will tell me how quickly I need to get my apps done.

Nope. Sending your application early is only good for rolling schools, who are more lenient earlier in the process.

They won't even start reading until Jan 1st (or whenever it's due) because until then the adcom is busy going around getting people to apply. Which school is this?

Sorry, I was talking about Rolling schools...The 2 I have in mind are Wisconsin that starts accepting on Sept 15 and Michigan which already started....should I apply before that ACT date even though they have to wait for my SAt score...thanks

In that case, go ahead.

michigan yes... if u apply b4 nov. 30 u get a decision in like a month (dec 22 at the latest)
