So I got a letter from Texas A&M and told me I was admitted to the Biochemistry Department. The first thing I read was that research was mandantory (yay!) and that their acceptance to any med school was an 80%. I'm soo thrilled! Anyone else majoring in Biochem so I have a person to look out for?

Boo - What are your stats? Are you in state? Any merit money? Honors dorm? Did you take the honors tour last summer? Why did you decide on A&M? Did you look at UT? Did I ask enough questions? ;) Thanks.

I'm not biochem, but I am premed. Hope to see you there!

wemel--haha sorry for the late response and now to answer your questions.
1) I'm out of state
2) I called the financial ppl and they are still discussing my credentials
3) I am eligible for the University Honors Program and will take honors classes
4) I did not take the honors tour last summer because I was stuck in Kansas
5) it was cheap and my fam is moving to Texas
6) I did look at UT but I am more of a rural type of person, and plus there are more biological science majors at Texas A&M
7) haha keep the questions coming

My Stats
Current Valedictorian
ACT: 29 (sucks I know--but that's what I get for going to a public school in the middle of the cornfields)
Lots of Extra curriculars--started a blind project here etc

anything else? haha lemme know
