<p>I'm a graduate CS student and got an summer intern in Microsoft. One issue is .. the team and discipline for my intern is not my first choice. So, is it possible for me to re-interview with the team I like after summer intern? Anybody knows? I don't have much passion for my current team. Thanks.</p>
<p>You mean you want to work with a different team/discipline within Microsoft? It would be up the Microsoft, but I don’t see why you couldn’t at least ask. But I’d wait until the end of the internship so you don’t look like a belly-acher. In the mean time give it your full enthusiasm and effort. Interns usually don’t work in their first choice department anyway, they’re often given the tedious grunt work.</p>
