ok so basically alot of you people are nuts...
i'd say stanford is a reach but only because it is literally a reach for EVERYONE what with their asinine 12% percentage rate.
you have had consistently excellent grades and your EC's are great, they show leadership and also interest in your own culture, and they cover a broad range of talent and what not.
and about the SAT scores...if anyone really knew what they were talking about theyd know that 2100 is a pretty fantastic score, seeing as how that is literally what the top 1% get with the new one. another point...an innumerable amount of colleges have consistently stated that they really dont care/wont necessarily take the new SAT score that seriously simply because there hasnt been enough time passed for them to get adequate research/statistics about it. and also they recognize that the test is alot longer, so it counts against you.
another point is that what with all the other things she has to offer, to reject her based on a slightly lower SAT score (that is still pretty good!) and ignore her GPA and other contributions is ridiculous, and that university is flawed.
so many people are capable of getting perfect gpas, perfect sat scores yadayada....i dont think they really are looking for that. sure they are looking for academic excellence, but they want to see that you can add something to their school. they know they have a ton of stereotypical geniuses, they want real substance. it seems like you can offer this.
i think you have a shot, stanford is amazing, good luck!

thanks

we actually had 15 apply early from our school and 4 got in. we only had one rejection...

i completely agree with diamondT and pezcore. Why put people down simply on the basis of SAT scores? Haven't you seen the Stanford EA thread recently. So many perfect, or near-perfect, scorers have got rejected? It's a worth a shot for anyone within a certain range. And you are definitely in the range, and you definitely have shot, albeit a really small one, because that's the case with everyone. CC just makes people doubt themselves and feel negative. I mean it's happened to me too. But you can't base everything on what people say here. They know just as much as me or you. Most of them are in the same applicant pool.

awesome post hana (pezcore)... i agree
good luck to the op! :)
