I don't know if this makes a huge impact....but I am Hindu (Asian). I do not take all honors/AP classes but I take 3 to 4 each year. Georgetown is my dream college!!

Given your stats, GU is a bit of a long shot but definitely give it a try. You have more realistic chances at George Washington, Boston College, or Villanova. Good luck!

Thank you for the feedback.

anyone else???

bumppp…

Give it a try, but I’m going to tell you flat out you don’t fit the criteria. You’re SATs are considerably low for the school, and because you haven’t taken an abundance of honors and APs, that 3.9 GPA won’t mean much. Colleges don’t want to see easy As that make up your high GPA, but would rather see a 3.8 with a lot of rigorous classes. This lowers your chances more because there will be those students with APs and Honors who have the same or a higher GPA than you.

Also your ECs seem to be all over the place, you have business but volunteered at a hospital? Georgetown, and colleges overall want to see an applicant that sticks to one thing they excel at.

What makes Georgetown your dream school? Reevaluate why you really want to go there, and if you can see yourself there.
