<p>my overall gpa is probably somewhere in between a 3.5 and 3.7 unweighted. I am taking all IB Higher level classes (with the exception of math, which I am taking Standard Level)</p>

<p>I attend a NYC private school that does not rank
I am a white male that is not searching for financial aid</p>

<p>I take russian classes in school, have taken a summer russian course at UChicago over the summer (which i got an A- in that I will send also). My expected major is either going to be in russian or international relations, and if possible a combination of both.</p>

<p>SATs:
700 - Math
670 - CR
640 - Writing
610 - Math 1 (I dont know whether to send this or not, if they accept january SATs i think i can easily bring it up to a 700)</p>

is ED2 harder to get into than ED1?
I hear that all the rejected ivy kids apply there, therefore making the pool harder, is this true or at all accurate?</p>

<p>Your EC’s and community service all make you standout. Your SAT scores are a probably your weak point though. I would suggest definitely not turning in your Math I subject test unless you get over a 700. The 610 will only hurt you. All that being said, if you apply ED2, i think you definitely have a good shot at admission. Good luck!</p>

<p>You can apply to Vandy ED2 and Emory RD. However, in February if you get accepted to Vanderbilt, you will have to withdraw all other applications including Emory RD.</p>
