Any chance for Brandeis?

I’ll be applying to Brandeis regular decision and am wondering about my chances for admission. I probably have one of the largest upward trends in the history of my school. I’m also taking 3 APs(Calc BC, Physics B, and Comp Sci AB) this year which is the maximum and the rest of my courses are honors. The downside is that I performed poorly in my Freshman, Sophomore, and part of my Junior year. Brandeis will be my “reach” school and is my first choice.

SAT I - V: 670 M: 770 W: 620 Total: 1440/1600 and 2060/2400

SAT IIs - Took them in November, but I’ll post my guesses.
Math IIC: 760 Physics: 800 Biology E: 660

My High School rank as of the end of Junior year was 76/519 with a 3.4 GPA. This quarter I got a 99 average, overall, so I’m hoping that my rank will move to around 50-60, which would be top 10%.

Did you apply ED? Or will you apply EDII?

Agree with J_B that ED II would enhance your chances, but since you will need financial aid--stick with RD--your chances look very good anyway.

Yeah, Brandeis doesn't look like that much of a reach for you at all. Your scores are right in the range, your math above average. if you do have a serious upward trend, that's nothing to worry about. best of luck!

yes, but what were your frosh, soph grades? i say brandeis is a low-match.

Thanks for the responses. I think I'm going to stick with regular decision for financial reasons.

GreenDayFan, I got mostly B's my Freshman and Sophomore years, with a few A's and C's thrown in. Starting half-way through Junior year I got all high A's. The reason for my low grades in earlier years was simply due to lack of effort. No one ever emphasized the importance of college to me, and I was never an over-achiever, so my grades suffered.
