I know things will change between this year and next year, when I apply to college; but I'm still interested in my chances to UChicago. As of now I plan on sending in just my ACT score, but I plan to retake my Bio SAT II and take the Math IIC. If I do well on those(750+) I will probably send those in as well. I plan on applying EA.
So please chance me to the best of your abilities!!!!Thanks!

Come on guys, 28 views and no replies? I know you love chancing =)

I just really don't want to read through your list...

You should have spaced it out nicely.

Uchicago is more into kids who can discuss rather than have good grades. I mean dont get me wrong they want good grades, but they also want a student who can present himself well. I know this because I chatted with the admissions officer last week.

I think you've got more than fair chances of getting in... 35 on ACT!!

Thanks for the replies! Jackfitz, can you please elaborate on "UChicago is more into kids who can discuss rather than have good grades?"

From what I gather (campus visit, interview, viewbook), UChicago classes are very discussion-based. They want students who will be able to actively contribute to class discussions, etc.

Your stats are strong, but they're going to weigh a lot on your essay too.

P.S. I don't think Chicago considers SAT II scores in the admissions process. Not 100% sure though

You will be in as long as you have a good essay.
