ANY Chance Left After This?

Hello,

I'm actually posting for my son who, as an out of state, applied to Michigan in November. We just discovered that, thorugh a mix-up his teacher sent in her rec in the past couple of days, so obviously his app won't be considered until January at earliest, with Feb 1 deadline...

I won't list all statistics here, but a good enough student that he was invited to apply to the honors program at Michigan back in October, before he had even officially applied.

So, college counselor at school has said will call u of M, and both his father and I are past Wolverines. Could I ask for any opinions on his chances here?

Thanks and happy holidays!

I think they'll rush his app through. I'm aware of a similar situation with a student from our HS (applied to NYU ED) where the GC sent in some form marked RD instead of ED. The student called and they rushed her app through. They really don't want the student to be at a disadvantage because of something out of his control. That's my assumption.

Thanks Very Happy! I hope you're right!
